§ Mr. Gowasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether she is satisfied with the reciprocal arrangements between the United Kingdom and Denmark for 800W medical treatment of British subjects in Denmark, including the system whereby payment has to be made in Denmark and refunded subsequently by her Department; and if she will make a statement.
§ Dr. OwenSo far as I am aware these arrangements are working satisfactorily. Any payments made by British patients, other than those for scheduled medicines, are normally recoverable on application to the Danish local authorities, but if the hon. Member has evidence of any particular difficulty I should be glad to look into it.
