asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland what is to be the salary of Sir Brian Morton, the new chairman of Harland and Wolff; and how it compares with the salary received by Lord Rochdale.

The salary for the new Chairman of Harland and Wolff Ltd., Sir Brian Morton, will be £10,000 per annum. The annual salary of the former Chairman, Lord Rochdale, who on 31st October resigned from this appointment which he had held since 8th July, 1971, was £12,500.
