§ Mr. Freudasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection what success her Department had in requesting companies to fill in gross profit as a percentage of home sales b/a×100; and if she will list the companies which successfully 798W completed the questionnaire in percentage terms of questonnaires sent out.
§ Mr. MaclennanThis is a matter for the Price Commission, not the Department, but I am informed that firms normally find it possible to comply with their statutory obligation to give information about profits to the Commission.
