§ Mr. Stephen Rossasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will introduce model byelaws to improve the safety of swimming pools not covered by the Public Health Act 1936.
§ Mr. Denis HowellThe question of safety measures in such swimming pools is one of the points being considered by the Home Office Working Party on Water Safety. I will consider appropriate action in the light of the working party's advice.
