§ Mr. KaufmanFollowing the statement made by my right hon. Friend the then Secretary of State for Industry on 14th May about the Heads of Agreement negotiated with Ferranti Limited a formal agreement was ratified by the company at a general meeting on 10th September. £15 million was paid to the company that day in respect of new equity and a loan.
