§ Mr. John FraserOn 9th October 1975, 3,023 people were unemployed in the area covered by the Margate, Ramsgate and Sandwich employment offices, and the rate of unemployment was 6.8 per cent. The corresponding figures for October 1974 were 1,718 and 3.8 per cent.
