HC Deb 10 November 1975 vol 899 c405W
Mr. Skeet

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what are the total funds that have been set aside by British Rail for capital investment during the current year; and how much has been allocated for station modernisation and electrification.

Dr. Gilbert

Investment in the railway and ancillary activities of the Railways Board should be about £237 million at mid-1975 prices—including £9.5 million on station modernisation and £9.4 million on eletrification.
