§ Mr. Trotterasked the Secretary of State for Defence with the navy of which friendly countries (a) in CENTO and (b) otherwise, exercises have taken place aimed at ensuring the continued security of oil traffic from the Gulf to the United Kingdom following the development by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics of a naval base at Somalia.
