§ Dr. Hampsonasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science how much annual grant each polytechnic in England and Wales receives, expressed as (a) a total amount, and (b) an amount per full-time student and full-time equivalent student, for academic year 1974–75.
§ Mr. MulleyPolytechnics do not receive an annual grant but are funded by local education authorities. Unit costs at individual institutions are influenced by the range and balance of courses and by the proportion of advanced and non-advanced work undertaken. I shall write to the hon. Member.
