§ Mr. William RossThere is insufficient information to estimate the net change in the figure of 180,000 houses thought to be below the tolerable standard when my hon. Friend's similar Question was answered on 24th July 1974. From a small sample of 2,354 households in the 1973 General Household Survey it is estimated that 7.9 per cent. of households in Scotland lack exclusive use of a fixed bath or shower.
