§ 71. Mr. Roy Hughesasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he has made any representations to the South African Government concerning their intervention in the affairs of Angola from the neighbouring territory of Namibia which they have illegally occupied for some time.
§ Mr. EnnalsI have seen reports of intervention in Angola from a number of countries, not only African. We have made no specific representations to South Africa. But we have repeatedly made clear our opposition to any outside intervention in Angola. The South African Government know our views on their unlawful occupation on Namibia.
