§ Mr. William Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish in the Official Report details of the 62 projects to be financed from the Regional Development Fund of the EEC; what proportion this represents of the total United Kingdom entitlement of £34 million for 1975; and what further projects he has in mind for submission to the Community for the years 1976 and 1977.
§ Mr. William RossDetails of the Scottish projects receiving grants under the first allocation of funds from the Regional Development Fund were given by my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Industry in reply to the hon. Member for Lancaster (Mrs. Kellett-Bowman) on 30th October 1975. These projects will receive fund aid of £1.7 million. Applications in respect of further Scottish projects involving aid of £11.3 million are now being considered by the Commission. Local authorities and other interested bodies are being consulted on projects for assistance in 1976 and 1977. It is too early to say what these projects may be.
