Osbornasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will tabulate in the Official Report for each county council, district council, metropolitan county council, and metropolitan district country, respectively, and in total the amount paid to public employees in salaries, to public employees by way of expenses and travelling allowances, necessarily incurred in connection with their duties, attendance fees paid to elected representatives, and expenses and travelling allowances necessarily incurred, expressing these on a percentage of overall expenditure for the last 12 months where known.
