Mr. Wm. Rossasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how much money has been paid by the Western Education and Library Board and Western Health and Social Services Board to voluntary organisations in their areas during each of the years of their existence and by the previous authorities covering the same general areas, for their last two years; and to what organisations there were moneys paid, how much in each case, and for each purpose.
§ Mr. Moyle, pursuant to his reply of 3rd November 1975, gave the following reply:
The information in respect of the Western Education and Library Board and the previous authorities is not available in the form requested and could only be provided with a disproportionate use of resources.
In the period 1st October 1973 to 31st March 1974 and 1st April 1974 to 31st March 1975 sums totalling £9,872.43 and £17,401.74 respectively were paid to voluntary organisations by the Western Health and Social Services Board, made up as follows:

§ Mr. Moyle, pursuant to his reply of 3rd November 1975, gave the following information:
The net payments of both boards during their first accounting period from 1st October 1973 to 31st March 1974 were within the sums approved by the Departments.
The Social Services Board overspent by £100,000—on family practitioners' services—in the financial year 1974–75. The accounts of the Education and Library Board for 1974–75 are still being prepared; but grants paid by the Department of Education to the board during the year did not exceed the approved totals.
