§ 31. Mr. Molloyasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what recent discussion she has had with professional associations and others representing NHS staff.
§ Mrs. CastleOn 16th and again on 29th October I discussed junior hospital doctors' and dentists' proposed new contract with representatives of the British Medical Association. I also met representatives of the Royal College of Nursing, Royal College of Midwives and Association of Nurse Administrators on 23rd October to discuss the consultative document on the separation of private practice from NHS hospitals, and I saw representatives of the TUC on 28th October on the same subject.
