HL Deb 03 November 1975 vol 365 c982WA
Lord O'HAGAN

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they plan to complete their review of citizenship without public or Parliamentary discussion; and

When they expect to complete their review of citizenship.

The MINISTER of STATE, HOME OFFICE (Lord Harris of Greenwich)

It is not yet possible to say when the review will be completed. As I said in reply to the noble Lord's Question on 20th October, it involves complicated issues and is bound to take time. The Government of course expect that there will in due course be full discussion of these matters.

House adjourned at twenty-nine minutes past eight o'clock
