§ Mr. William RossAs part of a research programme into the behaviour of wastes in land-fill sites, the Institute of Geological Sciences has carried out investigations at Eastfield Quarry, West Lothian and Leoch Quarry, near Dundee. The Institute has recently received approval to carrying out similar investigations at Greenoakhill Quarry. Uddingston.
