§ Mrs. Millie Millerasked the Minister for the Civil Service how many civil servants from the United Kingdom have visited the EEC during the past year in connection with the work of the Community; how many civil servants in the United Kingdom are engaged in work arising directly or indirectly from EEC regulations, directives, et cetera, and what has been the cost involved, including apportionment of salaries.
§ Mr. Charles R. MorrisInformation on visits made by United Kingdom civil servants to the EEC is not held centrally and could be collected only at disproportionate cost. So far as my own Department is concerned, four of my officials have visited Brussels during the past year in connection with EEC work. On the latter part of the Question, I would refer my hon. Friend to the Answer I gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Newham, South (Mr. Spearing) on 5th February.
