§ Mr. Biffenasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what assessment he has made of the likely consequences of the recent European Court of Justice ruling condemning French national restrictions on the market for bananas on the grounds that they contravene Article 3 of the Rome Treaty; and, in particular, what will the impact be on national marketing arrangements for sheepmeat, potatoes, alcohol, vinegar and cut flowers.
