§ Mr. Cordleasked the Secretary of State for Trade if he will give authority for the commencement of the proposed Skytrain service.
§ Mr. Clinton DavisThe authority for Laker Airways to commence the Skytrain service is contained in the airline's licence from the Civil Aviation Authority. However, in reviewing the Skytrain licence in February this year the authority stated it considered current aviation circumstances did not warrent the commencement of this experimental new service for at least a year. In the circumstances I have decided to consider the matter as part of the review of civil aviation policy now in progress and on which I hope to make a statement before the Summer Recess.
