§ Mr. Sillarsasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what effect if any he expects the new North Ayrshire district general hospital to have on the services and staffing at Ballochmyle Hospital.
§ Mr. William RossIt is not yet possible to be specific, but the opening of the new hospital will involve some redeployment of services and staff in the 419W area. Proposals by the Ayrshire and Arran Health Board are at present under consideration by the bodies concerned.
