§ Mr. Steenasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science, in the discussions held by the Minister for the Arts on 20th April about the future rôle of the youth service, how many representatives he met, from which organisations, and how many were young people within the statutory definition.
§ Mr. Hugh JenkinsOn 21st April officials met 16 young people chosen by the National Council for Voluntary Youth Services, the British Youth Council, the National Youth Assembly and the National Youth Forum Council to participate in a non-representative capacity. Their ages are not known but, with one exception, appeared to be under 25.
