§ Mr. John Garrettasked the Lord President of the Council if he will move to refer to the Select Committee on Procedure the operation of the Exchequer and Audit Act 1866, to cover the scope and authority of the Comptroller and Auditor General and the Public Accounts Committee compared with State audit systems of other countries, the definition of public funds and the relationship of the Exchequer and Audit Department to the Treasury.
