§ Mr. BoothI do not think that legislation specifically relating to strikes in the car industry would be either necessary or appropriate. Our legislative programme on labour relations is designed to deal with many of the matters which occasion disputes, and will establish on a statutory basis machinery for the promotion of better industrial relations and for the settlement of disputes.
