§ Mr. Roy JenkinsA number of organisations and individuals have asked me to consider legislation to amend the law on rape so as to reverse the recent decision of the House of Lords in R. v. Morgan and Others. I am informing them that, as I stated on 15th May in reply to a Question by my hon. Friend the Member for Stoke-on-Trent, South (Mr. Ashley)—[Vol. 892, c.159.]—I have the judgment in this case and its implications under consideration.
