§ Mr. Gregor MackenzieFinancial aid is available through the EEC Commission for Cornwall from the European Social Fund for the training, retraining or resettlement of workers; £56 million has been allocated to the United Kingdom from the Social Fund since 1973, but no figures are available on a regional basis. Grants are available from FEOGA towards projects promoting the objectives of the common agricultural policy; no grants from FEOGA have been made to Cornwall. Cornwall is one of the areas within the United Kingdom within which investments may qualify for assistance from the regional development fund when it has come into operation.
