§ Mr. MaclennanThe latest official estimates are that membership of the EEC has not significantly increased or reduced the present overall level of food prices in the United Kingdom. But, of course, the further we get from the date of entry the harder it becomes to estimate what food prices would have been if we had not joined the Community.
