(2) what changes have been made in provisions for persons visiting the Palace of Westminster following the passage of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
§ Mr. Edward ShortAn assessment of this matter is being carried out at the moment to see what changes are needed to bring existing provisions into line with those of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act.
The present provisions for persons visiting the Palace of Westminster are already in line with the provisions of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act.
§ Mr. Greville Jannerasked the Lord President of the Council whether a written 103W statement of policy, organisation and arrangements for health and safety at work has been issued to persons employed at the Palace of Westminster.
§ Mr. Edward ShortThis must await completion of the assessment to which I have already referred, and guidance is awaited from the Health and Safety Commission.
