§ Mr. William RossA central handicapped children's register was established in Scotland in 1968 and is continuously kept up to date, information relating to the handicap of each child being sent by health boards to the Common Services Agency of the Scottish Health Service. There are at present some variations as between health board areas in the amount of information supplied for the register but efforts are being made to ensure that it is as comprehensive as possible.
