§ Mr. Woodallasked the Secretary of State for Social Services when the amount of savings to be ignored in calculating supplementary benefit will be raised to £1,000, as promised by Her Majesty's Government on 13th November.
§ Mr. O'MalleyThe increase to £1,200 in the disregard of capital which was announced last November has since been enacted in the Social Security Benefits Act and will be implemented later this year.
