§ Dr. SummerskillImprovements have been made in recent years in arrangements for locating prisoners as near to their homes as possible, in facilities for496W visiting and correspondence, in home leave, in welfare matters and in assistance to families. We recognise the importance of family ties and will make such further improvements as the availability of resources allows.
