§ Mr. Edward ShortThe report is being published today. The House will be grateful, as are the Government, to the right hon. and learned Member for Huntingdonshire (Sir D. Renton) and his colleagues on the Committee for the energy which they have devoted to this complex and far-reaching inquiry. The Government will be considering the detailed recommendations made by the Committee in consultation, as necessary, with others concerned, and the way in 441W which the report might most appropriately be considered by the House.
