§ Mr. ArmstrongThe recommendations were mainly concerned with the integra-398W tion of independent boarding schools with the maintained system. My right hon. Friend has no plans for implementing these in the foreseeable future. There was also a recommendation that the fiscal and other benefits derived by some independent schools from charitable status should be terminated. Questions on this should be addressed to my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
