MorrisThe number of advertising agencies recommended each year by the Advisory Committee on the Appointment of Advertising Agents is dependent on the number of Government campaigns scheduled for that year. In the current year, 35 advertising agencies were appointed; of these, 25 were for the Central Office of Information, two for the Scottish Office, two for the Department for National Savings, three for the Civil Service Commission and three for advertising in Northern Ireland.
