HC Deb 05 May 1975 vol 891 cc369-70W
37. Mr. Biggs-Davison

asked the Secretary of State for Industry whether he will make a statement about aerospace exports to Romania.

Mr. Meacher

as for collaboration on aerospace projects. The British Aircraft Corporation has recently won a £19 million order for the supply of a further five BAC 1–11 aircraft to Romania under a contract which also provides for some work in Romania on Fairey Britten—Norman Islander aircraft, subcontracts relating to the 1–11, and aeroengine components.
