Mr. Roderick

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will publish a list of the names of the potentially dangerous refuse tips in the United Kingdom; what consideration is being given to improving their safety; and what are the safeguards currently in operation.

Mrs. Bain

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list in the Official Report the sites of the 51 toxic waste tips which he believes may be leaking.
