HC Deb 01 May 1975 vol 891 c244W
Mr. Cordle

asked the Secretary of State for Employment how many building strikes were recorded in the central parts of southern England in the 12 months up to 31st March 1975; and how many building strikes were recorded in that same area for each of the preceding five years.

Mr. Booth

Statistics showing the numbers of stoppages are not compiled for individual areas. Regional analyses of the numbers of workers involved and working days lost are, however, published annually in the Department of EmploymentGazette, usually in the May or June issue.
