§ Mr. Lomasasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if she will make a statement of guidance for those responsible on the advantages, or otherwise, of fluoride being added to water.
§ Dr. OwenFluoridation is a fully established public health measure for protection against dental decay, and the 197W Health Departments have published detailed evidence of its safety and effectiveness in the reports of "The Fluoridation Studies in the United Kingdom and the Results Achieved after Five and Eleven years respectively" (Reports on Public Health and Medical Subjects Nos. 105 and 122).
