§ Mr. David Steelasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what proposals he has for the further extension of the system of legal aid: and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. William Ross:Legal aid will be available in the new district courts as from 16th May 1975 and will thus be available for the first time in all Scottish courts. The need for legal aid in tribunal proceedings has been under review, but I have no statement to make on the matter at present.
