§ Mr. Trotterasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what application he has received for assistance towards the proposed new fish quay at North Shields.
§ Mr. Bishop:In October 1973 my right hon. Friend received an application from the Port of Tyne Authority for a 60 per cent. grant on an entirely new harbour with a protective breakwater, working quay, lay-by quays and market shed together with some land reclamation. The estimated cost is £4.38 million.
