Mr. Welsh

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) if he has any plans to set up a Scottish Construction Industry Liaison Group;

(2) what consultation he has had with the Construction Industry Liaison Group;

(3) what participation he has planned with the Construction Industry Liaison Group.

Mr. William Ross:

My hon. Friend the Minister for Housing and Construction is responsible for the Construction Industries Liaison Group but I am considering what arrangements should be made by my Departments in relation to the group.
