§ Mr. Viggersasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether he is satisfied with the operation of the Redundancy Payments Act; and whether he has any plans to amend the Act to ensure that its provisions are not abused.
§ Mr. John Fraser:In general the operation of the Act is satisfactory. However, my right hon. Friend intends to make some minor changes to the Act through provisions to be included in the forthcoming Employment Protection Bill.
