§ Mr. David Priceasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether, in the light of the general public interest in Sir Alan Bullock's inquiry into, and report upon, the reading ability of children, he will now set up a similar inquiry into the numeracy of chilren.
§ Mr. Armstrong:I am not convinced that an inquiry on these lines should be set up at the present time.
