§ Mr. Hicksasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is his estimate of the cost to the Revenue of re-classifying, for capital allowances purposes, the construction of hotels as industrial buildings.
§ Mr. Robert Sheldon,pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 18th March], gave the following information :
About £25 million a year, but this estimate is subject to a wide margin of error.
