§ Mr. Trotterasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he intends to abandon the existing brigade structure in the British Army in Germany; if so, whether the reorganisation will affect the number and strength of the fighting units in Germany; and whether there will be any intermediate level of command between the division and the battle group.
§ Mr. Robert C. Brown:The Defence White Paper, which will be published on 19th March, will give appropriate details of these and other matters relating to the restructuring of the Army announced by my right hon. Friend on 16th December.
