§ Mr. Christopher Priceasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will list in the Official Report the bodies he has so far consulted on the recommendations of the Russell Report as announced in his reply of 19th July 1974 ; and when he now intends to make a statement on the conclusions of those conditions.
§ Mr. Prentice :As a first step there have been informal discussions between officials of my Department and officers of the local authority associations. The need to decide what progress is possible within the constraints dictated by our present economic difficulties has delayed the start of wider discussions, but I recognise that adult education bodies are anxious to learn my conclusions about the Russell Report and I will announce them as soon as possible after my consultations are complete.
