§ 21. Mr. David Steelasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations have been made by Her Majesty's Government to the Rhodesian régime and the Portuguese authorities concerning the case of Mr. Kenneth McIntosh ; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. EnnalsWe have asked the Portuguese Government for an explanation of the circumstances in which Mr. McIntosh was returned to Rhodesia on 22nd February. They have told us that an inquiry is being made, and have assured us in the meantime that Mr. McIntosh's return was not in line with their policy.
