Whether they will publish a table showing the number of deaths and serious injuries in England, Scotland and Wales in each of the last five years, arising out of illegal violence by terrorists, extremists and members of revolutionary organisations, distinguishing between the casualties suffered by the general public, the Armed Forces and the police in each year.
§ Lord HARRIS of GREENWICHI regret that this information is not avail-able and could not be obtained without disproportionate effort. Since March 1973, 43 people have been killed as a result of bomb attacks in Great Britain, of whom 28 were members of the general public, and 15 were members of the Armed Forces. In the same period about 870 have been injured, some of them seriously. Of these about 780 were members of the general public, 70 were members of the Armed Services and 20 were police officers.
