Except in such circumstances, Her Majesty's Government are firmly opposed to the use of compulsion or inducement to secure the repatriation of members of ethnic minorities. Assistance will, however, continue to be given under existing arrangements to those who wish to go to live abroad and in whose best interests it is to do so.
