asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what was the injury accident rate per million miles for invalid tricycles, adapted cars issued by DHSS and normal cars and taxis for the 12 months to 30th September 1973, and 30th September 1974, respectively.

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many accidents involving three-wheeled cars occurred during each of the last five years.

The following are figures of 3-wheeled motor vehicles involved in accidents resulting in personal injury. Figures for other accidents are not available.

1974–75 accounted for by interest charges are set out in the Third Report of the Steering Group on Water Authority Economic and Financial objectives. They are as follows:

Northumbrian 45.0 per cent.
Severn-Trent 33.5 per cent.
Yorkshire 30.8 per cent.
Anglian 39.3 per cent.
Thames 23.4 per cent.
Southern 28.4 per cent.
Wessex 39.0 per cent.
South-West 36.5 per cent.
